Florida

We're in Florida for the holidays, and so far, it's been a very nice trip. The weather is warm (but rainy for the next few days) -- we'd better enjoy that while we can, because our next stop is chilly South Dakota!

We're not sure whether we'll be able to decorate the tree this year. It's an artificial tree, and the dogs go underneath it when they're playing, and spin it around. We don't want to have a cyclone of ornaments! Normally the tree gets blocked off by presents, but with a beagle puppy in the house, we haven' t put presents under the tree yet. (For those of you unfamiliar with the ways of beagle puppies, they chew on everything, and Benny is young enough that he hasn't figured out what's an appropriate puppy toy and what isn't.)

PS: Ohio State is playing Florida in basketball today. Hmmm, a warmup for the football championship?
