Brrrrrr

Winter has arrived (as usual, just in time for Thanksgiving). It's grey and cold and rainy here, and did I mention cold?? We even saw some frozen rain on the way to the bus stop this morning.

The university isn't holding classes tomorrow, which meant that the students seem to think today is essentially a holiday as well -- my classes were only half full. Oh well!

We're getting ready for my family's Thanksgiving visit. We ordered a fresh turkey this year for the first time. Who knows if we'll notice any difference from our usual "corporate" turkey? And if we're lucky, we won't have a repeat of last year's clogged drains. (But if that happens, we're prepared -- we still have some paper plates left over from last year!)
