It's About Time

On Friday, we had dinner with some friends from grad school. They live in Cary, only about a half hour away, yet it's taken us a year and a half to actually get together! It was a great to have a chance to catch up with them. Last time we saw them, just before they moved here from Columbus, they were expecting their first child. That child is now eight, and she has a four year old brother. (There's nothing like kids to remind you how time flies!)

And in other news, we finally caved in and ordered a cell phone. (The comment from Mike's friend was, "You are one of nine people in the country who don't have a cell phone. The other eight are Amish.") We don't think we'll be using it that much, so we're just doing a pay as you go plan for now.
