Here, there, and everywhere

We're back in town after a trip to Colorado to celebrate Mike's sister's birthday, and then a trip for me up the road to Charlottesville (with a visit to my sister on the way). The only real travel adventure was that I encountered a hailstorm on my drive back home this afternoon! It was about 80 degrees in Virginia, and equally warm here, but the cold front came right in between. (I don't have any pictures of the excitement; I was too busy hoping that there wouldn't be a car crash, since visibility was close to nothing and everyone was pulling over to the side of the freeway.)
