Lakeside

Nora and Abby came to visit this weekend, and we took advantage of the lovely weather to walk over to our neighborhood lake. It's about a three mile round trip, but we'd never done the whole walk before. And then when we got there, Abby managed to fall into the lake, but she was none the worse for wear (and in fact, seemed refreshed!)

Mike and I also went over there with Stanley a couple of evenings this week, and Stanley met some new dog friends. It's no Clark Park, but it may turn out to be a nice way to meet some other neighborhood folks.

We also got to watch some more Torchwood episodes over the weekend. :)

In other news, you all may have missed your opportunity to buy the Big House behind us. It's under contract, to a family with two teenagers. So much for Mike's dream of some retired rock-band moving in!
