Not So Apropos

I was hoping to have a more auspicious occasion to share a joke:

A Cajun dies and goes to Hell. One day, the Devil is making his rounds, and he sees the Cajun smiling. "Why are you so happy?" the Devil asks. "Aren't you burning up in these flames?"

"No siree," says the Cajun. "This is just like a spring night down on the bayou, sitting out on the porch. Not too hot at all. Just like home."

The Devil grumbles, thinks "I'll show him," and cranks the heat up.

He goes back into the room, and the Cajun is still grinning away. "What now?" says the Devil, "Aren't you burning up?"

"No siree," says the Cajun. "This is just like August in New Orleans. Just like walking through the French Quarter in the Summer."

All right, thinks the Devil. I'll get him this time. He turns the temperature all the way down to freezing. He rubs his hands together with glee, and walks into the room...to see the Cajun still smiling, even with snow falling and icicles hanging off his face. "How can you still be so happy???" the Devil roars.

"Whooooeeee!" says the Cajun. "The Saints just won the Super Bowl!"

But alas, it was a cold day in Chicago instead.
