Munich!

We're in Munich! We arrived only a little later than scheduled, but the weather is even better than scheduled -- in the 70's today with only a few clouds. (An improvement over the rain showers that we expected!)

Our hotel is near the River Isar and an easy walk to the old part of town (Marienplatz). Tomorrow we will probably do a walking tour or visit museums, depending on the weather.

(We'll try to post more pictures, but Internet access from the hotel is pricy, so we may have to wait until we find a better hotspot.)



We have been enjoying the typical Munich pastimes of eating sausage (and schnitzel) and hanging out in the beer gardens! The beer Mike is holding is called Radler, and it's half beer, half lemonade. Quite refreshing!
