Hits and Misses

We saw a great set of plays last weekend at the 10 X 10 show. Ten plays, ten minutes each, ten actors. (And yes, admission was ten bucks.) I found it amusing that in two of the ten plays, The Laptop was the villain. (Other villains included Cancer and War.)

In one play, the husband was cheating on-line, and in another one, the husband was too busy doing work on his computer to pay attention to his new wife (and so she ended up having an affair with the bellman, who killed the husband in a fight). That latter play was called the Idiot's Guide to Classical Music, and it was hilarious -- there was no dialogue, the characters just hummed/sang their own theme music.

We missed the annual tomato tasting at the Farmer's Market, to our disappointment, and we'll be missing the NC tax holiday. Oh well!
