Again?

Apparently our neighborhood is the home of flaky Girl Scouts. Last year, we ordered cookies from one of our neighbors, and never got them. We'd ask about them, and oh yes, they were the garage, she'd bring the over soon, but it didn't happen. (Actually, knowing this girl, we weren't at all surprised by this. And for better or worse, there were often Girl Scout parents selling cookies on Franklin Street around lunchtime, so we got our Samoa fix that way!)

This year we had high hopes because we ordered our cookies from a different neighborhood Girl Scout. ("They'll arrive around Valentine's Day," she told us.) Well, Valentines has come and gone, and still no cookies for us. (Maybe writing this means that they'll show up on our doorstep soon, so I'll have to take back my comments??) And it's not like we live far from these folks; we're less than five houses away. Oh well!

I am generally non-confrontational but i have to say that i would go to these people's house and politely ask for my cookies from this year AND last year. And maybe i wouldn't leave until i had them. You don't mess with a girl's Tagalongs.
