Culinary Adventures

Frozen pizza has always been one of our standby quick dinners, but we've recently started trying to make our own pizza. We were inspired by pizza dough sold by Trader Joe's; it made it seem not so hard! (I know, it's probably not all that hard to make our own dough, but we're not always so lucky with yeast...)

The main problem is that we don't have one of those big pizza spatulas, so it has been a challenge to get the pizza onto and off of the pizza stone. Apparently we need to use a bit more flour under the crust!

Even though they don't look as pretty as "professional" pizza, they're super tasty. For last night's creation, we had fresh mozzerella, tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, basil, and a little bit of prosciutto. Yum!!
