Choo Choo

We went out this weekend with some friends, and got to try a new restaurant/bar in town that is constructed out of old railroad cars. It's a neat combination -- the cars are linked by larger, airy steel and glass rooms. The whole effect is very modern and not at all claustrophobic -- which you might imagine could easily happen with skinny railroad cars. And they have a beer garden for the summer. (As our friend commented, you can drink your beer while looking out over the grocery store next door! Ah well, it's not quite Munich, but we'll take what we can get.)

We'll be riding the rails for real in a few days; we leave for Switzerland on Thursday.
