Update from Mike
From an email to the family:
It's been busy here. Saturday was a full day of football and taco-making. We watched the Buckeyes beat UM, enjoying the game and sushi and boneless buffalo wings along the way. Then we watched LSU defeat Ole Miss. As soon as the game ended we started making 36-48 of mom's soft tacos. We cooked 4 pounds of ground turkey and got about 40 tacos. They will come in handy when we have a houseful of relatives later this week.

Sunday was mainly a work day, although we did go to the UNC basketball game at 6 PM. The 'Heels won easily, defeating Iona. On the way home we stopped at the grocery store to stock up on the supplies for Thanksgiving. Monday was a work day. Melanie stopped at the grocery store on the way home because we needed Abita root beer and there is only one place to buy it around here. We picked up the last 2 six-packs. Then I made another winning batch of asparagus/mushroom/shrimp/creamy pasta. It turned out well. I think I am getting pretty consistent with this dish.

I would like to try more dishes with asparagus. Are you willing to share your prize-winning recipe?
