North Carolina has early voting from October 16 to November 1. (There's been a pretty big turnout already. We didn't have to wait, but there was a line of people ahead of us and a line of people behind us when we voted.) I think it's great; it's a lot nicer when people have choices of when to go rather than having to stand in line or miss work if your only chance to vote is on Election Day.
