300 Pounds of Dream Come True

A strange thing is happening in Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels are fielding a decent football team, and people are starting to care about college football! (The title comes from an announcer's comment during last night's game, where one of the huge defensive players made an interception and lumbered into the end zone with it.) Amazing!

Beautiful fall weather has arrived here. The yellow mums pictured here are in our front yard, but we're not sure how long they'll last -- we just got them yesterday, and it looks like the deer have already started to munch on them.
