Debate Party

Our neighbors held a debate party, complete with "yes we can" spelled out in magnets on the refrigerator, "make your own candidate" finger puppets, and soft toys to throw at the television. (Turns out we were all inspired to throw them at the post-debate commentators. Why do the networks even bother asking campaign staffers what they think? They'd say their guy won even if he had answered every debate question with lines from Monty Python movies!)

One of the other attendees brought the cake below (with lettering that says "Cindy McCain stole my vic0din and hash"). Not necessarily in the best of taste, but kind of funny anyhow in its outrageousness. (And also delicious.)
