All about the Benjamin

Dad came to visit last week, and he brought Sammy and the new beagle puppy -- Benny -- with him. (Benny is the latest addition to the pack. Mom and Dad's dog groomer found him and his sibling abandoned in the woods, and thought Dad would give him a good home. This inspired Mike to remark that he liked our groomer because "we always come back with the same number of dogs we dropped off.")

Benny was absolutely adorable. There's nothing cuter than a beagle puppy. You can't tell from this picture, but he's still pretty little -- about half Stanley's size.

We had a nice visit with Dad. We had the traditional Indian dinner (there aren't any good Indian restaurants where he lives, and he loves curry), and showed him around the campus.
