Back to Nature

We started our day visiting UNC-Charlotte, our "sister campus" -- which is much newer than Chapel Hill. And then we were in the mountain part of the state -- Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. It was absolutely wonderful to be able to get out and hike around for a while. We're staying at the Lake Lure Inn. Their claim to fame is that Dirty Dancing was filmed here. (In fact, I believe the chancellor is staying in the Swayze Suite.) We just did square dancing instead. :)
