Tarheels Victorious

Our friends Jeff and Yvonne came over to watch the UNC-Duke game with us last night. (Yvonne works at Duke, but rooted for the Tarheels anyhow!) None of us really expected a win, and the game didn’t start out on a promising note…but then the team started to even up the score, and at the end the Tarheels managed to pull it out! (Sweet revenge for Duke’s victory at UNC a few weeks ago.)

It’s amazing what a difference a few months makes. UNC won the National Championship last year, a day or so after I accepted the job here. I didn’t care a bit. But now, we’re pretty excited about just beating the archrivals!
