On the Road Again

On Friday night, we took a road trip in the new car to a small town called Pittsboro. (We use “road trip” here only in the most liberal sense – Pittsboro is all of 18 miles from Chapel Hill.) We went to a restaurant called the General Store Café. It’s a funky little place in what used to be a Chevrolet dealership. It’s decorated with art from local artists, and there was a local musician playing guitar. They have a coffeeshop and takeout section, and the dinner menu focused on organic foods. Yummy! We’re looking forward to exploring the rest of the town one of these days.
